Operation of cemeteries

The operating of the cemeteries in Mosonmagyaróvár behalf of the local Government are the City Operator and Maintainer Ltd. responsibility..
We perform our task on the basis of the XLIII/1999th Act on cemeteries and burial, the 145/1999. (X.1.). Government Decree and the 38/2000 (XII. 19.) government regulation.

Coordinating activities Cemetery (grave digging, funerals, dead shipments).
Our tasks include keeping up to date the validity of the graves, cemeteries and control of any current activity.

Opening hours of office: munkanapokon 7:30 - 16:00 on workdays.

Cemeteries in Mosonmagyarovar

• Cemetery in the Ovar district which operating since the early 1600's.,
• Cemetery in the Moson district which operating since 1775.,
• New Public Cemetery beside of Feketeerdo street since 1997.

Opening hours: from 7:00 to 18:00, majd május 1-től november 5-ig 7 órától 20 óráig.

Activity

In the cemeteries caretakers and cemetery guards supervise the compliance of the order and take care of values in cemeteries. Check also the work of stonemasons, we record the location of tombstones. The dangerous, neglected graves owners' attention is drawn to correct errors as soon as possible. We inform our visitors in cemeteries on the posted information signs.
